Sevai Payasam Kheer

1 cup vermicelli
1/2 cup ghee
6 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2-3 tbsp cashew nuts
1 tbsp raisins
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
|
|
Break vermicelli into 1 in pieces. Heat the
ghee and fry the vermicelli until golden brown in color.
Add milk and boil. Mix in the cashew nuts and the raisins.
Keep boiling until vermicelli is tender.
Mix in the sugar and stir till the sugar is dissolved.
Stir in the cardamom powder and serve hot or chilled.
