Sabudana Kheer

1 cup Sabudana
1 liter milk
Few strands Kesar/ saffron
4 tbsp sugar
2-3 cardamoms
cup cashew nuts chopped
cup almonds blanched and chopped
cup raisins
 

 

Take milk and Sabudana in a heavy bottom pan and boil.


Boil it on slow flame till the milk becomes thick and Sabudana (Sago) becomes transparent.


Add sugar and dry fruits boil it again.

 

Crush saffron in 1 tsp of warm milk and add to boiling milk.Now add crushed cardamom seeds in the milk.

Refrigerate and serve chilled.
