Filling :
4 – Large boiled potatoes
1 tsp - red chili powder
1 tsp - garam masala
11/2 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp – amchur (Dry Mango
Powder)
Pinch of asafoetida powder
1 tbsp - cumin seeds
1 -2 chopped
green chilies
½ inch piece of ginger chopped
Chopped coriander
leaves
Salt to taste
Dough :
2 cups - all purpose flour (maida)
1/4 cup - vegetable oil
Pinch of salt.

Mash potatoes
into ½ inch pieces.
Put 1 tbsp oil in a heavy pan.
When the oil is hot add cumin seeds, asafoetida powder, coriander
powder and chopped ginger and fry until seeds crackle.
Add mashed
potatoes, salt, garam masala, chili powder and amchur powder. Mix it
very well cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
Add chopped green
chilies and coriander leaves.
Mix all purpose flour, pinch of salt and vegetable
oil. Add small quantity of water and knead
into a medium hard dough. Make small round rolls with dough.
Roll it
like chapati. Divide it into 2 equal halves.
In a bowl mix 1tsp of
all purpose flour and 2 tbsp of water.
Now pick one semicircle up
and fold it like a cone. Use Flour mix to seal the edge. Stuff potato mixture in the cone and seal the cone closed.
Repeat
for all the dough.
Put in hot oil, deep fry on medium heat till golden in color.
Serve hot with green chutney or Imli chutney.
