Mango Panna

Ingredients:   Method:

1 lb. Raw mangoes

1.5 cups sugar

1 tsp black salt

2 cups water

pinch asafoetida powder

1 tsp Cumin seeds




Peel and chop mangoes in 1 inch big chunks.


Put water and mango pieces in pressure cooker and boil on medium heat until 3 whistles (10-15 minutes) come.


Blend the mixture in a blender and strain it.


Put the Mixture, Sugar and salt in a pan and put it on heat. After sugar melts remove from heat.


Dry roast cumin seeds and asafoetida powder and put it in panna.


Chill and serve. It is very good to beat the heat in summers.
