Cucumber and Radish Raita

Ingredients:   Method:
1 Large Seedless Cucumber

4 Large Red Radishes

2-3 tsp of roasted and powdered cumin (Jeera)

salt to taste

2 medium sized cloves of garlic

1 1/2 cups of yogurt and 1 cup of sour cream

  Wash cucumber and radishes and cut out stems and brown spots.

Grate garlic on fine side of a box grater and place in medium sized Pyrex round dish along with the ground cumin and salt.

Grate cucumber and radishes on the fine side of a box grater.

Squeeze out all of the water from the cucumber and radishes and place in the medium sized Pyrex round dish.

Mix the cumin salt and grated cucumber and radish together .

Add sour cream and yogurt and mix gently together. Place in refrigerator to chill for couple of hours to blend flavors together.

Can be served with dhal and rice and your favorite Sabzi and Roti.
