Shree Ganesh is the god of wisdom and
learning, as well as the remover of obstacles.'Ga' symbolizes
Buddhi (intellect) and 'Na' symbolizes Vijnana (wisdom). Lord
Ganesha is also called Vinayak ( knowledgeable ) or Vighneshwer
(god to remove obstacles). In Hindu beliefs his elephant head
symbolizes wisdom, small shrewd eyes, long ears that miss
nothing, a long nose that can smell out anything and his
vehicle, a mouse, reflects a person's ego so Ganesha, using the
mouse as a vehicle, exemplifies the need to control our ego.
