A bhajan or kirtan is basically a Hindu or Sikh devotional song, often of ancient origin. Kirtans are deeply rooted in the Vedic tradition. Bhajans are simple songs in soulfully expressing the many emotions of love for God; a complete submission or self-surrender to Him through singing. Music to human ears is heavenly. And if it's purely devotional, it's truly divine. Such a genre of music is the Bhajan.

There are three types of Bhajans:

Suprabhata: Early morning / Wakeup Bhajans

Avarohana: Evening Bhajans

Arohana: Morning Bhajans
